Chronic inflammation is a long-term issue that can affect you for months and even for years. More often than not, inflammation can be life-threatening if not treated quickly. This infection could be related to diabetes, heart disease, depression, cancer, and Alzheimer’s to name a few.

Eating healthy is the best move to avoid having such kind of inflammation. In fact, a good diet can also keep your life longer.

VEGETABLES
Ever since were children, we are oriented about how vegetables are healthy for the body. Majority of parents aim and work on how their kids would eat vegetables instead of sweets, junk foods, and other unhealthy dishes.

Vegetables, especially cauliflower, broccoli, brussels sprouts, spinach, and kale are powerful choices to reduce inflammation in the body and improve the immune system.

BERRIES
Acai, strawberries, and blueberries contain antioxidants that are good for the body. These antioxidants reduce chronic inflammation and boost the body’s immune system.

The best way to serve berries is to mix them with oatmeal or turn them into smoothies. Berries can also be turned into pies and other desserts. But, if you do not like sweets that much or you are watching your sugar intake, you can mix berries with yogurts.

OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS
Omega-3 is good for the heart. Salmons and sardines are the main sources for omega-3. But if you do not like to have fish in your diet, you can substitute it with seeds and nuts because they also have anti-inflammatory benefits.

By simply adding seeds and or nuts on your breakfast plate can go a long way.

TURMERIC
Beyond its powerful color and smell, turmeric is the best choice for to have that has anti-inflammatory benefits. If you love cooking, you may want to start adding turmeric to your dishes like soups, dressings, and other viands.

Aside from all the mentioned food, do not forget to glorify water. Always make sure that you are drinking at least eight glasses a day to keep your body hydrated and boost your immune system further.
